Dog Waste Bins
In line with other parished areas in the city, the ownership of the dog waste bins lies with the Galleywood Parish Council, although the Chelmsford City Council
currently empties them once per week, at no direct cost to the Parish Council.
In adverse weather conditions, (i.e. snow and ice) every effort will be made to collect all dog waste bins but only those that can be reached with a vehicle.
You can find out more about dog fouling on the City Council's website.
Bags and Bins
Dog owners are responsible for supplying their own dog bags. However, in an effort to make it easier for people to have access to dog bags, free dog bags
are also available at the City Councils' Customer Service Centre, as well as at the Parish Council office at the Keene Hall, the Galleywood Heritage Centre
and the Galleywood Library.
