Galleywood Parish Council (GPC)

Galleywood Parish Council (GPC) is a civil local authority found in England and is the lowest, or first, tier of local government for its area. The Parish Council is an elected corporate body, has variable tax raising powers, and is responsible for the area known as the Galleywood parish.

Civil Parish Councils should not be confused with Parochial Church Councils (PCC) which administer parishes of the Church of England.

Galleywood Parish Council's Mission Statement is:
' To enhance the quality of life for the community of Galleywood,
maintain the village identity and encourage a community spirit'.
