The Essex County Council (A130 Northbound dedicated left turn lane and off slip to A12 at J17, Galleywood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the Order: To temporarily close between the times of 2100h and 0500h the A130 Northbound dedicated left turn lane and off slip to A12 at J17, Galleywood in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Howe Green interchange, south for a distance of approximately 785 metres (entire length of A130 northbound off slip to A12 at J17 will be closed.
The alternative route for vehicles wishing to travel London bound on the A12 will be via A1114, A414, A12 J15.
The closure is scheduled between 20 August 2018 to 29 August 2018 between the hours of 2100h and 0500h or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. Specific dates and times will be shown on advanced warning signs on site.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to renew all road markings and road studs between J17 and J15 are undertaken on the A12 by Highways England.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 20 August 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, which ever is the earlier.
Dated 9 August 2018 - This notice will be posted in the Essex Chronicle on 9 August 2018 and again on 16 August 2018. The Order will come into effect on 20 August 2018 and the restriction will last for the duration of the works.
Notice of making an Order - Highways Act 1980 - ECC - Public Path Diversion Order 2018 - Footpath 31 - Galleywood
The above Order, made on 4 July 2018, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert a part length of Footpah 31 of unknown width shown by a bold continuous line on the Order Map commencing from a point located approximately 40 metres north east of the main vehicle entrance to Chelmer Park and adjacent to the public highway known as Beehive Lane running in a generally westerly direction south of a property boundary for 42 metres to reach a point adjacent to the north western corner of a property boundary before continuing in a north easterly direction within Chelmer Park and parallet to the rear of property boundaries then heading north, north west and then north east for a total distance of 209 metres to reach a point in the north east corner of the park for 130 metres to a point approximately 31 metres north west of the tennis court, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing from a point located adjacent to the main vehicle entrance to Chelmer Park and the public highway known as Beehive Lane running in a west, north westerly direction through a gap in the hedge passing close to the aforementioned point adjacent to the north western corner of a property boundar and continuing on in a generally northerly and then north westerly direction through the park for 137 metres to where it meets and then runs along the existing surfaced track in first a north westerly then north, north easterly, then north north westerly direction for a total distance of 196 metres to the aforementioned end point.
A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Chelmsford City Council, Civic Centre, Duke Street CM1 1JE and at the Chelmsford Public Library Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request fom the Library at a charge.
Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Robert Lee, Definitive Map Service, ECC Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South Chelmsford CM1 1QH not later than 16 August 2018. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn. ECC may confirm the Order as an unupposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which may have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985
